I was wondering if there is a mines or veilside v1 replica front lip made of urethane? I know there are CF and FRP versions but i'm afraid of cracking those. I've always had good experiences with urethane lips in the past (hitting something just resulted in scrapes rather then cracks )

No authentic Veilside lip will come in Urethane anymore . I believe they only made a urethane version of the Veilside V1 lip for the 03-05 bumper when it first came out. If you want a Veilside V1 lip its either FRP or CF.

As for the Mines, there is also only two options FRP and CF. I've asked the owner of EVO-R if he was thinking about making a urethane version of the Mine's but he doesn't think he will.

I was in the same position as you, afraid of cracking FRP and CF, but in the end I just bought the CF Mine's and called it a day.

 

i don't mind getting one of those ebay knockoffs if they fit halfway decent (cheap enough to trash if it gets messed up). I only see the Nismo lip though, can't seem to find the v1

 

The CF Mine's from EVO-R is first class.Fits like a glove...you can install in 30 minutes!
I don't know about the FRP,but the CF/clear coat is perfect.
Last I checked they were $459 shipped to you.

Eff all that cf and FG frp stuff, It all breaks, just buy some urethane lip off ebay. The 06-08 v1 lips actually look pretty good. But no point to buy REAL lip cuz they break, if your low... I had a cf cwest lip thats lasted 15 minute drive..

 

i had a authentic V1 cf.....piece of tire tread bounced up from the far side of the fwy lane and ended up on my lane..couldnt go left or right....thing ended taking a chunk off on the driver side....i'm sad.
