Exclamation Urgent ! Locked out

my battery is disconnected and all the doors are locked , and the hatch as well, i can not access the car , is there any ways to open the hood from the outside ?? like an emergency latch.. ???!?

i would greatly appreciate assisstance !!!

ps: using the key manually doesnt unlocked the door.

Remove the engine undertray, reach to the top when the hood reliese is and pull the cable.

Why won't the key unlock the door? Mine does. It feels like it's totally mechanical.

+1, I don't drive my car in the winter so it stays in the garage, and that always worked to unlock my doors even without the battery connected.

For some reason my key wont open my car either. The car was never in an accident either as to say doors/handles were replaced.

The RF chip in the key doesn't have anything to do with the locks in the door.

exactly, hence why i carry a spare key in my wallet without a chip. it can unlock the door and crank the car, just wont start it. good for when you lock your keys inside.

never heard of somthing like this maybe u should try turning said key harder or try different key in the lock sometime if its a newer key it might not like the lock

I have a flip key taped to my library card in my wallet in case of emergency.

Smile Problem solved

got the hood open , thanks to 'terrasmak' advice,i removed the underlay, nd pulled on the cable !!!!

btw , manually the key did not work, i have no idea y, but i turned it as much as i could...no response what so ever.

How about showing us exactly where you were able to pull the cable. It's got a jacket over the part that keeps you from getting to the wire inside. Do you just pull on the jacket up near the latch?
