Default help with hardwiring valentine one

Hey everybody. I have a base 2008 and I just got the valentine one. My friend has a g37 and hardwired his to the mirror, but mine has no power since it is the base. While looking last night, I noticed that I have a light up top that tells when the passenger airbag is disabled.

Question is can I hardwire the detector to that wire? If so how do I take the piece off, if not, any other ideas? thanks in advance.

Dude BlendMount is the way to go... I have it on my Z. They sell a wire that plugs into the Valentine has a positive and negative lead that plugs into the harness, it's a 10min operation.
