Default Front Bumper Parts Help

Hey guys, when I bought my Z I didn't realize that it was previously in a front side accident. The guy replaced the front bumper and didn't report it, it wasn't in the car fax .

Anyways, I wanted to buy all the parts to make it not look like crap, all the nuts and bolts, the front bumper absorber, and one of the wheel wells/protectors (is that what they're called?) and I wanted the forums opinion on what to get, and if i'm getting the right parts or missing some. I'm buying the parts from courtesy parts. I'm including pictures, in case it might help. Oh, and i'm going to buy the max amount that courtesy parts says I need, just in case the guy before me just threw them away.

Heres the link to the stuff/diagram for the bumper:

Stuff/diagram for the wheel well/protector:

62050A - Screws x5
62050E - Clip x4
62050GA - Grommet Screw x4
62056 - Stiffener, RH x1
62057 - Stiffener, LH x1
62673P - Bracket, RH x1
62674P - Bracket, LH x1
62090 - Energy Absorber, front x1

Wheel Well/Protector
63822 - Front Fender Protector, RH x1
0819136061A - Nut x2
63130A - Screw
63130GA - Clip x4
63130G - Clip x13
63130GB - Clip x2
63120A - Screw x6
63120E - Clip x6

If anyone can confirm this for me, that'd be great. Oh yeah, if you need any more info/pics, i'd be happy to give it to you. Thanks!

dont bother with front half fender liners, they will prolly get rubbed down/off over time, just use the rear halfs. why are you buysing all that stuff, All you really need is the 6 clips across the top of the front bumper and the Z brackets that mount the bumper to the fender. your spending way too much for nothing. On top of that yor car looks like its lowered already so the engine shroud ( plastic peice that connects to the crossmember and front bumper wont last long either, take that off and buy the FRONT HALF ONLY from zspeed, they sell only the front half and hardware for 70 shipped, that will keep your bumper from flding back at speed. It connects the front bumper the the radiator support. trust me dont buy all the **** u listed because it will be a waste in to long run.

Thanks! But I'm not too great with all this so which 6 clips would I need, what Z brackets? Is the engine shroud the plastic piece under the car?

The half fender liners... thats what I thought the wheel protector was, right?

The 6 little black push tabs that run across the top of you front bumper when you open the hood, they go into the radiator support.

^^ Z bracket part# 62673P and 62674P which im pretty sure you still have.

^^ This is the shroud replacement that Zspeed sell for like 180 shipped through the forums it replaces the OEM plastic one you see behind it. I have the full thing but my car is slammed and the back half takes a beating, You can opt to buy just the front half as it keeps the front bumper from buckling at speed, for 70 shipped including hardware, least thats what I paid for the last 2 I bought.

The fender liners come in two halfs, the front half usually get rubbed away if your car is lowered over time so its pretty pointless, I Keep the rear half because it keeps the gap from body to fender hidden for a little cleaner look.

Edit: as you can see in your first pic, the fender liner is there its just rubbed away on the front half. thats why it lookks like that, Thats pretty common for all Z's that are lowered. Most guys I know eliminate them all together.

You're right! I do have them still, except one. Do I need the foam absorber?

The foam absorber helps keep your bumper cover from being pushed into the crash bar. Without it you might lean on it one day and it'll look like the side of a crushed can

If you're looking for a clean stock look, I would replace the under shroud. I got mine from TBW. I'd also get new fender liners with new clips too. I did and it fits well.
There are a couple more great sites I'd like to point you out to.
Z1motorsports.com and conceptz.com
I use them for all my parts, both OEM and aftermarket.

Yea I was also sold something like this...looking to get it cleaned up and fastened correctly. I have the bumper quick release and the clips on top. Not sure if that is really bad or not but the quick release seems pretty sturdy
