Question NISMO sideskirts (filling in that faux line)

I am thinking of picking up the NISMO sideskirts, but don't like that faux character line that they mold into the peices. (it makes snese if youre leaving the bottom part carbonfiber aka John's 350z. How durable would sanding/putting in that line be? Would it crack a few years down the road?

I think you might want to FILL the gap up instead if sanding other parts down... and I don't see how it will affect the durability of the side skirts, might be even stonger after you fill the line up!

I mean, how would they fill this line? Some sort of putty? My worry would be that the putty (or whatever) would dry up and crack over time and stress.

yeah... they will use some putty to fill the line up... I don't think it will though... many of my friends have replica body kits and they need those putties to fill the gaps up... never heard of crack or anything...

why don't you just simply leave them as they are, so you will no problem? I don't find it is fugly though...

cheers,

richie
