Hey guys - so I might be picking up a set of used +06 tail lights this Friday from a local seller. He's asking for $200 for the pair, which I think is a great deal however the right tail light has a chip in the bottom left corner. My question is, is it repairable/worth it? Or would I be better off to continue looking. I have considered options like wrapping them with vinyl to cover the damage however I'm not a big fan of smoked tail lights.

Not I know of, I had a similar issue and just tossed them in the trash instead.

^agreed. i'd buy them for $200 the chip probably isnt even that noticeable when its on the car. i'd say go for it.

 

you can put a little piece of red tape to make it less noticeable

 

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I might have to pass these up. Knowing myself, I wouldn't be able to live with it haha.
