Default Tinted Headlights?

What do you guys think of these tinted headlights? I know I should paint my housings black but this seems so much cheaper and easier. So please do not tell me to paint or buy black housing lights. I will either tint them or leave them stock. I would have my local shop do 50% on my headlights. I have a silverstone z with everything but the car black ( windows, emblems, door handles, rims) so I think it would look good. Just wanting some honest feedback. Thanks!

My personal opinion is tinting the front headlights looks kinda trashy. But then again the only tinted headlights i have seen have been like 20% or darker and mostly is done on black Z's. I just purchased a kit to tint the tail lights and side markers though. I think if done right (im not doing it myself gonna let a friend whos done it several times do it) it can look pretty clean. Thats just my 2 cents though. It comes down to the fact that its your car and you gotta do what YOU think looks good

Kills function, and looks like something that belongs on an 80's camaro or mustang parked in a trailer park.

Light tint can look OK but as soon as they start to really look black it looks off IMO.

Seems like a lame idea to me.
In fact, depending on the State you live in,you may get stopped by the cops.
I've seen tons of REMOVABLE covers on the road.To me,they really cheapen a car like a Z.On a ricer Civic, who cares.Tints on side markers/tailights are o.k.I have "smoke" vinyl
overlays on my side markers. They look great.
Also,you do much night driving?
You gotta see dude!

Doesn't look good, reduces visibility (i.e. key function), and is also illegal in a lot of areas (in Canada at least) if your headlights aren't visible from a certain distance. Open them up and black-out the housing. It's tasteful, looks a lot cleaner/better, and doesn't affect visibility. Just my $0.02.

Have them painted or leave them alone, tinting is no bueno and it's bad for the lights over time.

If you have 03-05 head lights, tint looks good! 06+ headlights.. Keep em un-tinted! Lol all that matters is if you like it honestly I kinda like how they look. Your gonna get a load of mixed opinions though.

Well I have an 03 with HID's but I think it looks kind of cool too. I woul definitely go with my theme. I just do not want it to look like I have dirty headlights or black headlights. I would just get them smoked like the pic I attached so I don't think it would effect light output enough to worry about it... hmm I am still thinking about it

How is tinting headlights cheaper? Painting your headlight housings cost less than $10 and only take up a couple hours. It looks a thousand times better than tint ever will and still retains the visibility on the 06+ headlights.
