I saw that Big Black Track got his door in custom Cabon Fiber. Wondered what everyone else thinks about them.

wow..pretty intense..i like it....but they are prob 200 per door..which is too much...and is it one piece..easy to install?

Are you cerain that the entire door panel is carbon fibre? I looks to me like it is just covered in leather. Looking at the pic of the drivers side door, I can see stitching. The only thing that is carbon fibre I can se is the plate around the window controls.

i think you might be looking at the wrong pic. There are other pics of door panels because it a resource site.

$200 would be a steal per door but its custom made. Im sure it cost more like $800-1000.

 

bigblcktrack probably would be able to answer it better since its his car but i heard it was real CF laid down on it.. so it might be very expensive

The door panels were custom made. I will talk to my friend if he's willing to make some more and how much will he charge. I know it took him about a week to produce the set that I have.
