I have an 03 and looking at getting the Stillen Supercharger. I know all the draw backs to having the Stillen over Vortech/HKS/Procharger or even turbos. I'm not looking to build a great deal of power so that is not the question or debate, so please don't try to convince me otherwise.

But, since the Stillen does require a new hood, does the HR create enough clearance for the supercharger or is the Stillen hood the only hood that will work?

 

hr hood will not provide nearly enough clearance, stillen hood or something else that is equally nasty will be your only choice.

unless your a boss and cut your hood so the sc is visible through the top of the hood

 

That's not very boss, more like a D-Bag maneuver. lol

Yeah, I can find the kits relatively cheap, but the hood isn't cheap. Most of the people that are selling used setups trashed the hoods except one guy that has the CF version and wants the same amount as straight from Stillen!

Actually, I was just curious about used pricing, but for the money, I'm pretty sure I would just buy a new one direct from Stillen.
