Default Spoiler Frustration

I bought a Z few weeks back and it came with a spoiler. I don't mind the look of it, but I want to put an emblem back on there. It's one of those spoilers that cover the hatch. I don't know if this is the same, but it's very similar.

I was wondering if I can buy an original emblem from Nissan and put it on the back? I bought an emblem on Ebay and it's one of those that's supposed to fit the pre-existing template body. I don't know if the original is also like that or not.

Can you guys please tell me if I can just get the factory's emblem? I need the one that comes with adhesive and not fit the pre-existing template on the body.

Thank you!

Sure you can put emblems wherever you want. OEM emblem will cost you about $50. eBay knock-offs go for $25. Price and quality is your choice.

Search Courtesy Nissan..they have e'm.If it were me,I'd change it up a bit
with different type of emblem that fits the OEM space.
The Z-Store/Motorsports has a great selection.

So my issue is just that I'm not sure if the OEM will fit with the spoiler I have. The spoiler doesn't have a "pre-existing template body" for it. What I mean by that is the dent on the body that can have the specific emblem fit in there.

I think what I need is the adhesive type that doesn't need the spoiler to have a dented hole to put the emblem in there.

I'll check the Nissan Courtesy and see if they have anything I can use.

Thank you for all your help!

With 3m double sided adhesive tape, you can put anything, anywhere, on your car.

Whether or not anything anywhere fits "in good taste" is a whole different story.

Its easy, though, what you want to do. Most emblems are double sided tape from the factory now days.

The stock hatch does not have an indentation for the emblem. There are just two holes for alignment. I'm not sure what spoiler you have, but I doubt a stock emblem will look good taped onto the back of the spoiler.

Awesome. Thanks guys.

I don't have the photo of it, but this is similar to what I have (I'm pretty sure it's the same one).

Yea, double sided 3m tape is what a lot of people use now. Just make sure you align it correctly!
