Im doing this for a buddy who got in a little fender bender last week and needs a new hood, i told his to stay away from the aftermarket hoods as they tend to have major fitment issues and he doesnt want a carbon fiber hood. I found a fiberglass OEM style replacement on carpartswholesale.com, would this be okay to go with? or is there anything someone could recommend

Just get an OEM hood from someone who wanted a CF hood.

 

Check salvage yards for a OEM hood.Or,there are several vendors that
specialize in used Z parts.A great one is Z-1 MOTORSPORTS near Atlanta.
They have tons of used Z parts.
