The OEM lights are made by Koito. They should say Koito on the lenses near the the Nissan stamp. Also, the OEM '06+ lights only came with HIDs and the ballasts were mounted to the bottom of the housing. If that hole isn't present, I'd be skeptical that these are OEM.

well i figured out that i didnt really need the hid kit that it came with. so i ordered a d2s 8000k 35 watt bulb so i can just use my stock hids off of my old headlights. i didnt wanna use the aftermarket hid kit because it would just mean more wiring and having to drill through the back cover. so i basically have a hid kit for sale lol. i ordered the bulbs so they should be in next week. i will be installing these sometime next week when i have some free time off of school

okay well yeah its basically just the housing that comes with it. you have to use the cover and ballast from the 03 headlight to cover them up.

Did you try to plug those in without snipping the wire and see if they will actually work like that?

I'm confused. If you are going to use the OEM ballast and igniter from your old lights (with the new bulbs you ordered), you are going to need to use the entire wiring harness from your old lights also correct? Because the old harness has includes the plug that goes from the ballast to the connector on the car's wiring harness. If you are using the old wiring harness, nothing will need to be cut.

Can you post some pictures of the back and bottom of the housings please?

I ordered a set of the A1 headlights and will let everyone know once they come in and post some pictures. I guy told me they are NOT OEM Nissan so I will see how they hold up compared to the OEM ones. There is a 60 day money back guarantee and a 3 year warranty on manufacturing errors.

I got the ones on ebay from xcessmotorsports. They r OEM genuine Nissan. It has the koito engraving next to the Nissan engraving at the very bottom of the headlight which indicates that it is truly genuine Nissan. Look at my earlier pics. They even came in the genuine Nissan parts box that you can only get from Nissan themselves
