Default UK burnt orange interior

I really love the UK burnt orange interior. I like how the stick and e-brake are orange, and the bottom part of the steering wheel ir orange too. Even the stitching on the steering wheel is orange. Is there any way to get these items shipped to america?? Any help would be great. Thanks!

I'm sure if you have relatives in europe, you could ask them to stop by a nissan dealership and ask around. Otherwise, i see you making some long distance calls (or emails, as the case may be) to europe's dealers in order to work something out.

I work at a Nissan Dealership in Holland and i could look into it.

Send me a PM if you are serious.
It could take some time to get the information because we don't have all the info yet about the Z. The first cars are being delivered as we speak.

I think the price for the e-brake and shiftknob will be reasonable, but the steeringwheel with the cruise and radiocontrols on it will be pretty expensive (wouldn't be surprised if it's over 500 bucks)

Let me know.

Greetz,
Peter

I think there may be a safety requirement / law in Europe about the radio and cell phone buttons being on the steering wheel so people don't fly off the road while changing stations or answering their phones. Not a bad idea ...

These features are not available on US spec Z's at this time.

S'funny. In the UK, the orange bits on steering wheel, gearknob etc. are almost universally despised. In fact, I would have gone for burnt orange (Alezan in the UK ) if the interior were like the US one.

I know of at least one person in the UK who has bought a black gear **** from Courtesy to replace the orange one!

If you're interested, I could try to put you in touch see if she wants to sell the orange one.

As for steering wheel controls...stereo controls on steering wheel are common equipment over here so I guess they did it to be competitive. The telephone controls are because it has just become illegal in the UK to hold a phone whilst driving.

Cheers
Stuart
