Your opinion & advice on this wing & rear lip
I don't have any add-ons done to my Z just yet. I was thinking about buying the following so I can get the ball rolling. Any advice or comments will be appreciated -

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2008-Ni...4cb647&vxp=mtr
Also attaching a picture of my Z! I know I need to drop it, but I'm having hard time understanding on what type of lowering springs I should invest in. Not planning on doing coilovers. I just want a smooth 1.5" - 2" drop.

1.5"-2" drop is considerable in these cars from my experience. Id read up the suspension 101 thread. It helped me a lot. Consider it a guide to what your going to need to do for a drop like that.

cant say I like either of the two items you posted but I havn't seem them on a car together either so it may work.
agree the suspension should be first stop. get adjustable coilovers so you can get it where you want. springs might not settle to where you are happy and you will sell them at a loss and probably end up buying coils anyway.

Coilovers at that drop will ride better... as for the exterior pieces... they're both hideous. The V1 Nismo is atrocious and better options can be had and that rear lip is HUGE. That rear lip goes on a very aggressive Sprit kit so it's not going to flow with that spoiler.
My advice would be to take a look at a Shine replica of the Top Secret diffuser and maybe an OEM spoiler because you need sides and lip to really make the kit worth it.

I would suggest first getting a more quality set of wheels and then if your'e still looking to buy an exterior modification go through one of our site vendors rather than some random Ebay vendor who will only end up selling you something that needs a ton of work to make fit correctly.

First of all,the two body mods at the rear of your car is just too much.
I suggest you get a complete plan together on how you want your car to look.
Adding body parts from different companies is a crap shoot.I'd suggest a whole body kit.
That way,you can be sure the lines will flow...everything will match. In addition, most
likely, you will save money.I gotta disagree about lowering the car first. If you did this,
then selected a kit that had less ground clearance than you planned, you could have
a car that may not be driveable in all areas. If you decide to drop your car before getting
your body components,be sure to do your homework on ground clearance.Possibly
fforum members can provide input.

It seems the decision is pretty unanimous.
Both would have a negative impact on the looks of your car. I actually bought my Z with that same spoiler installed by the previous owner. IMO, the Z looks much better without it.
I think that wheels and suspension should come first, bottom line.
However, bmccann is probably right. You can get the opinion of every person on this forum, but in the end, you're going to do what makes you happiest.
If you do it and end up regretting it, you'll bite the bullet and learn from your mistakes.
Good luck!

Appreciate the comments guys! I know lots of people "disliked" the wheels but the guy I bought my Z from didn't have stock wheels :/ I got a quote from VMR for the V710s 19"s and I'm thinking about going with those.
Drop first? Or buy new wheels? Hmmm!!!!
