Oh, it's not so bad. It's worth it for cars that are cheap or projects. My wife would laugh at me for spending more on the rims than the car itself, so I went cheap on this AIT kit.

Bought my "replica" Mine's lip from evo-r and it fit like an OEM part. Worth the price of admission.

If he doesn't let you return it I would try to contact your credit card company or worst case just sell it on the forum and someone will want it I'm sure

It looks like a 03-05 fit(maybe).
A proper fitting lip should just pop into place...no gaps.
Another case of paying for what you get.
No amount of heat is gonna change anything.
How did you pay for the lip?
Credit card/PayPal...contact them to dispute.
Anything I order online its with AMEX.They will
handle if there is a problem with the goods.
He is letting me accept the return on paypal BUT Ill have to pay shipping back and 20% restocking fee so I end up losing over $100 bucks.

Not a shot I would pay that. He's the one that was wrong about his product.

Have you contacted PayPal directly about this?
What credit card did you use?I would talk with them.
You may have a problem with the restocking fee.
If this fee was displyed upfront when you purchased the
item, you may have to pay.Did you buy on E-Bay?
If so,contact them for a dispute. Most vendors on
E-Bay don't want any problems that will get them
banned from selling.Best casr scenerio would an exchange for the
CORRECT fitting lip.Maybe split the freight.
Also, noted several online vendors selling a Veilside style lip by AIT
for about $220.Its listed for 03-05 Z's.The photo looks correct.
So,the proper lip is available.Have e'm swap yours.

Good luck.

He should credit your account and let you keep it, it's not worth shipping back. Hopefully he'll lose more in sales from this exposure than he gained by screwing you.

Did you measure where I mentioned? If it's more than 35 1/2", chances are you received the right lip but it has sh!tty fitment.

No I did not measure it because I already send the product back. I do not have time to deal with the process of doing the heat process with additional work that requires the mechanic to leave my car at their shop.

Lol! Well the "idiot" claims that this product can be used for the 08 bumpers if I just heat the darn thing. He kept explaining to me not the return it and in fact would pay half of the price ($50) for the dealer to do the installment, which I find awkward. Also, he claimed that if I return it he would still lose profit if he charges me the restocking fee.

So unless I can prove that this part can not fit on the 08 bumper by letting the dealer do the installation, I have to accept the processing fee.

Good news everyone! Some how I received a full refund from paypal. All I did was send in the package and expected to get partial refund. But the problem was that they did not respond into giving me my partial refund. I was so pissed that I filed the paypal claimed (which I should have done a long time ago) and won FULL refund.

Thanks Z community for the help!
