Hey gang,

Two things I'm fumbling a bit here...

I'm trying to find an EVO-R Blitz rear spoiler, painted ideally (PPW), and I can't seem to find the spoiler for anything less than $460 unpainted?

I know they've sold for less, even painted for $370, so does anyone know where I can find one? Even used is fine, as long it's in mint condition. New is preferred though.

Secondly, once it's installed with the 3M tape....can you lift and close the hatch using the spoiler as a handle? Or is that a big no no.

Thanks for the help, I'm sure you guys will have an answer, and I have searched the forums, but the vendor that was supplying these was apparently shut down, the thread is locked and I'm not sure where quite where to turn yet.

All help sincerely appreciated, that spoiler will be a nice touch to my car as the mods continue.

The Blitz design spoiler is available from the Z store under invasion.However,the Z store
does not offer a pre painted spoiler.Also,its a good possibilty that coming from EVO-R
the maker,it maybe not in stock.If you are familiar with the EVO-R "service" track record,
you may be in for a wait.EVO-R sells on e-bay under:
HYPER_REV MOTORS.For some reason Jay(EVO-R owner)gives better service if you order
through this source.Probably due to e-bay won't allow lousy service...Jay would be out the door!
FYI,there are other sources for this design spoiler.You may want to check CARid.com.
They do pre-painted.
I would'nt use the spoiler as a handle.It won't come off if properly installed.But,just not a good idea.

Do not order directly from EVO-R, he will take your order even if he doesn't have it in stock and you are stuck without the part.

If the Z store doesn't have it in stock they will not charge you for it.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the help.

I was told the Invasion spoiler is actually different from the Blitz spoiler, that the wing sticks out more. That was from the person who picked up the phone at the Z store a few days ago.

Who is right?

I'd really much rather buy a painted spoiler ideally, but I hear your warning and respect it.

How long would I have to wait? I don't need it one week, but I'm not willing to wait and wait while they have my money either.

Well it still looks good.

I am aware of the issues w/ the EVO-R seller, so if the zstore is safer route, I'd say just buy from there. Decent pricing too.

It's the same thing....

I had to work with EVO-R for nearly six months to get people their things when he was still a vendor on this forum.

If you buy from him and he never sends you the item after I have warned you not to then you are just being ignorant and will probably never get your item.

Buy it from the Zstore and they can make sure that they have it in stock rather than making you wait for EVO-R to get around to fulfilling your order (which he probably won't do and you will need to submit a claim through Paypal)

Thanks for the explanation Waizz, I'm almost 100% on buying from the Z store then.

I'm already 100% on not buying from Evo-R now, thanks for the help in protecting my sanity and money and keeping me from having to buy plane tickets and a tazer. ha

Anybody else know of another source? Carid.com doesn't carry it. Just looking for the best price for a painted one and have time to wait for the best deal.
