I alreacy have HIDs and I was wondering if I needed to change only the bulb if I wanted to make my HID's more blue like the Audi, or S2000 .... or do I need to buy the whole kit?

 

you just need to change bulbs to 6000K or higher (the higher the more blue)

 

What temperature bulb will get the more purpleish color like on BMW's and Benz's. I was told that that temperature provided more optimal lighting, is that true? Also how much do the bulbs go for approximately? TIA

about 4500 is the best output. but higher is more blue.

the Z is right around 4500. anything else will be dimmer(donno how noticable); but will have the color your wanting.

 

Start by changing your parking lights. The stock parking lights work against your HIDs by giving the lamp a yellowish appearance. Either remove these bulbs or replace them with super white bulbs. Please note that this will do nothing for light output, but will slightly change the look of your headlamps. It is very cheap and easy also. Check out this thread
