How to verify Shine Auto products?
Is there any way to determine if a bumper, sides, etc. are Shine products or not? My order from a vendor on here came with no documentation, couldn't spot any markings on the parts themselves.
Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance
I haven't test fit anything yet so im not sure about the fitment but its a dark charcoal color, almost black FRP. I looked for manufacturer markings but didn't see anything. I may have just missed them so I'll take a closer look. Anywhere I should be looking in particular?

What. The. Fck? My parts definitely don't have shine logos on the inside. I'll try to get in touch with shine when they open but its looking like I got robbed. I'll also take pictures when I get home from work.
You may also be able to tell by the flexibility of the material. Supposedly the Shine "hybrid FRP" material is somewhere between FRP and polyurethane on the flexibility spectrum. If it feels like it's too stiff and is going to crack easily, it's probably not Shine.
I agree, it's weird. Their website has been under construction for something like 2 years and they certainly don't have much (if any) presence on my350z anymore. I'm wondering if they're more active in the 370z and RX7 (FD) worlds, based on the content of their "new" website?
At any rate, I was on the phone with Ken @ Shine late last week regarding a new diffuser, and it seems they are very much still in business and filling orders!

Its definitely not stiff. Its flexibility is similar to the stock bumper, its easy to twist and contort without and effort at all. I've felt extremely rigid frp before made by a different company that had barely any give at all. It felt, like you said, like it could easily crack. My stuff definitely isn't like that but the lack of a logo and any documents whatsoever is really making me question what the hell I have in my garage.

The problem I face now is I dont want to start drilling holes to check the fitment if its going to give the vendor a reason to refuse a refund.
Edit: I got a hold of Ken at Shine. He informed me that as of late they haven't been manufacturing the logo into the parts. Also he let me know that the package shipped directly to my house from Shine, so the vendor never even saw the package (which is what was the cause of my concern, that the vendor could have swapped stuff or something).
Ken sounds like a nice guy, he even gave me some installation tips after answering my question. That's a relief. Happy I got to the bottom of this before contacting the vendor with a complaint.

Ken at Shine is great.I've bought several parts directly from Shine.None had any markings. They make the parts right at their operation in CA.All Shine parts fit great.
Furthermore, their service is great.I saw a diffuser, which appeared to be a JDM part.
I researched the part and found out it was a Spec-R diffuser from Shine. It was not listed in any Shine info.Sorta,"off the menu".I called Ken.He said they still had the mold.
He could pull one for me(CF).I got it in about 2 weeks!Fit great.Looks great!
Also,Z1 Motorsports is selling the Shine VS2 body kit.
Shine is alive&well!

All of my Shine parts had this on the back side. Shine parts are very flexible, light, and thin (2-3mm thickness at most). Other aftermarket kits I've owned were 3-5mm in thickness and heavier compared to Shine parts.
