Default Anyone have pics of blacked out emblems on a black Z?

I'm thinking of painting (or more likely, "plasti-dip"ing) the front and rear nissan emblems on my black 04 but haven't been able to find any pictures to see what I think. Surely someone else has done this and if so, would anyone be kind enough to share pictures?

Thanks in advance!

Why not black on black?
The German car tuners have done this for years.

That's actually what I meant, I realize now that I forgot to specify

I will look for your pictures, I think I'm gonna skip the paint and just plasti-dip. In my experience, OEM badges never go back on as well as they were if you have to remove them and I don't trust my masking abilities to paint them on the car but the plasti-dip peels right off of paint!

I would like to but aren't there holes that would need to be filled under both?
I could be wrong, if one or both of them are smooth underneath, I very well might.

The rear 350z can be pulled w/ no holes. The rear hamburger needs to be filled, but it's not that big of a deal. I still have my rear and front hamburger, and they're painted a hyper silver to match my wheels.

I just don't want to deal with filing the holes honestly. I'd do it if I really liked the look but its not worth the $$$ and effort. (IMHO)
Pic(s) of your hyper silver emblems? I bet that looks great.

I did decide though what I'm going to do. I'm going to black out (plasti-dip) the NISSAN hamburger emblem in the back, leave the chrome-ish 350Z badge on the back as is and replace the front NISSAN emblem with a black satin "Z" emblem from Courtesy Parts. Haven't picked exactly which one but I'll look closer after I can make a little money. Business has really slowed this month for me >_>

Well, I havent purchased the Z emblem for up front yet but I went ahead and plasti-dipped the nissan badges that are already on the car. Looks pretty cool for now, I think!
I left the 350z badge as is, i like the light contrast. Door handles and wheels are still oem as well; although, I'm seriously considering using plasti-dip on the wheels... maybe next weekend

p.s. i just noticed... 4/$9 coke six packs at kroger? I gotta get to the store later! lol

If you're going through all that..why not get these? I just put them on. I got this design because I wanted full coverage on the inside to block the holes in the rear and cover any imperfections in paint after removal.
BTW, you could still paint he outer satin a flat black if you wanted.

Yes, I'm thinking of debadging the *350Z*..but I hear it leaves an *after image* and my car paint is somewhat faded..so I'm going to hold off on that for now. Thinking about the *satin black pearl* badge, if I don't want to leave it debadged.
