Default How much to Wrap in Satin Black?

Hi there,
First of all, I searched and read a lot of subjects about the wrap but I couldn't find the price for the labor.
I'd like to Wrap my future 350Z in Satin Black and I read that 5 x 30Ft was enough for the 350Z. I found this 3M Vinyl Wrap and I'd like to know what you guys think about it ?
And I won't be able to do it by myself, that's for sure.
How much would it cost if I went to a paint or body shop and have them do it for me? Or is there any member in Northern Virginia (I am in Reston but can drive about one hour to meet ) who did it before and is willing to do it again ?

That's the first mod that I thought of. After that I am thinking Wheels and Tires + Lowering Kit. Good idea?

Thanks for your answers

I'm just speaking from experience...I did wrap my car matte black with the 3m 1080 vinyl that you are looking at...and I needed 50ftx5ft to do the whole car. I did it myself and it was $450 for the vinyl.

Shops quoted me on average $2500 to do it...I didn't really shop around though, I knew I wanted to do it by myself

? I think I'll look and have someone who did by himself on his own help me on that - Pay him around $300 ?
That's waaay to expensive for a ~$400 wrap

Matte black is so cliche, I say just save your money or go for a different color all together

Not Matte Black, Satin Black
I think it's kinda rare to see one like it...
And here in NoVa, I've been driving one year and never saw a Matte Black car... So even if I went with that color, It'd be kind of outstanding...

But still, going with a Satin black.

Thanks !

~2500 sounds about right. i got quoted at 3000 for mine. i would personally start with wheels, then coilovers/springs, THEN the wrap.

Waizzz touched upon a interesting point. What is cliche in one area is very rare
in another.Recently there was a discussion on GT wings.Lowering is always a hot
topic.Spacers...common.However,my point is that in different areas of the
country there are definite trends of "what looks good".For example,in the west, especially,CA,GT wings are commonplace.Wrapped cars are popular.
On the contrary,in the south/southeast,those mods are rare. This weekend
one of the biggest Z events east of the Mississippi will take place, the Z
Nationals near Atlanta. There will be hundreds of Z's in every shape and size.
You won't see many if any full size wings or a wrap.In fact, lowering in not that
common. The emphasis in this area is HP.Go fast stuff under the hood.
There may a couple of dropped Z's.Perhaps we'll see some wings. Those would
come up from Florida, especially the Miami area.Central U.S. from what I've
seen is pretty conservative when it comes to Z mods.Maybe a emhasis on wheels.
Northeast, again high on HP gains with some body kit stuff.
All this makes owning a Z fun& rewarding. There really is no wrong or right
thing to do to your car.Maybe unless you rice it to death.
Then its always wrong.

yep. i think wrap on lame cars is cliche.. i see alot of stockers like that.. i did it to hide and blend in some of the offensive lines of my VS kit.. all i ever really wanted was the fenders lol.

regardless, out of all the colors ive seen, its still the best imo. it is a little played out, but if yours mods carry a big d#ck, who cares anyways.. lol. MUZZYs car has ebay headlights lol.

I will never understand satin black or flat colors as it looks like you never finished your paint job. Looks way to much like you primered your car and didn't have enough money for the paint.

Just sayin.
They are "winners" in different eras.
It will always be that way with cars.
Very few,only a few...are timeless.
They never get old.Jaguar XKE for example.
In the JDM,Toyota 2000GT.
