Default Small fitment issue for 03 front lip

I just got my front lip for my 03 Z and the fitment on both sides just under the the reflectors is a little off. There is a very tiny gap between the lip and the bumper on the passenger side and a slightly larger one on the driver side.
I've been told a hair dryer or heat gun could help improve the fitment.
If that's right how would I go about doing that? Because other than those small gaps I really like the look it gives the car.

I'm new on here, so I appreciate the help!

Typical ebay lip that all the newbs get for 50 bucks? Urethane can be heated with a heat gun but if it's a gap I doubt you'll be able to form it to close it.

As far as I'm concerned,it either fits or not.
I'm guessing you bought one of those 99 buck lips made
of dumpster lid material off e-bay.You can heat it,but its never
gonna look right.I've seen guys put screws fastening the lip so it "fits"!!Chalk this purchase up to experience(we all at one
time made buys because the price was great)and get a lip that fits.
Your Z deserves better.

As said, you are basically stuck. However, posting a pic might help someone come up with some help
