Default Question about a heavier shift ****

Hello, I'm planning on getting heavier shift **** compared to the OEM one. I want to get the MOMO Aluminum Sport Shift **** ALUSP solely due to looks.
But I'm not sure how it will feel since I can't test it beforehand compared to the OEM one. So is it that much of a difference?

Anyones input would be greatly appreciated thanks!

If it is indeed a heavier **** then yes, you will feel a difference in shifting (bit smoother and easier)

I dunno.

After switching from a oem to a significantly heavier ****.......

I can't tell no difference.

Here's what it looks like installed:

This is on a Nismo adjustable short shifter, but even with the original lever, it sits lower than stock, which I like. Not grossly heavier, but it feels great in my hand - have one on 3 other cars in my driveway, too.

Never understood this part about the import world. I've been hitting the dragstrips since I was 16 years old, and not one time did I ever say 'damn, I'd sure snag 2nd a hell of a lot faster if this **** were a little metal chode'. Driver mod is a hell of a lot more cost effective than being one of those guys that pisses $100 away on a shift ****. At the end of the day though, it's your money.

Is there a MOMO logo on the top of the shift ****?

Actually there a logo is on the top of newer *****, but it's very light, almost like a shadow. The older ***** didn't have it. But I didn't want an Italian-brand logo in my Z, so I installed that newer **** (bought a few years ago) in my '92 Alfa Spider, and swapped the older non-logo (same type) **** from that car into the Z. On all these ***** the word "MOMO" is engraved into the bottom trim piece, twice, 180-degrees apart. Not easy to see, and the rubber finisher on the Z covers some of it up. You can see it if you look closely at the pics. The logo on the top of the **** doesn't look bad at all, but I just thought it was more appropriate in one of my Alfa's than in the Z.
