Problem is that this switch is not the same as the driver side. The drivers side switches both the + and - to change motor directions where this switch provides ground signals to the controller to do the directions.

Looks like we need the controller to make this work.
what do you mean by the controller? The motor is plugged in..

That white box is the controller. Drivers side is simple compared to this. Lots of inputs to that controller

Whats the connector that is unplugged at the center bottom of the pic?

Get me the color and layout of the wires of the connector on the bottom left of the picture.

Also it looks like the motor is unplugged.

We go try this two ways, splice and get rid of the controller completely or try to wire it up with the controller and jumper out some signals.
the big connector that is loose here are the colors
top

red, red with white stripe, white, blue, green w black stripe, black white stripe, black

bottom
blue, white, blue w white stripe, red, purple, purple w white stripe, green, blue w white stripe

Some of the +12v come from switched sources.
Only connect the grounds that do not say "test without first"
I am not responsible if something goes wrong.
Some wire colors varied but only a few.

What is that other connector you showed?

the last one is the 18 pin the other one is the one that connects directly to the switch that then goes into controller

uploaded an updated list with more descriptions/colors.

Getting close.

You may need some of the ignition signals and you may need a few off the convertible top controller signals (which are most likely ground signals and may prohibit movement of the seat)

Red = Would not hook up at all
Yellow = questionable since i do not have the programs I do not know if you need the signal grounded or open
Green = confident that you need it hooked up
