Dont forget that the black and white wire on the switches need to be grounded as well.

Getting close.

You may need some of the ignition signals and you may need a few off the convertible top controller signals (which are most likely ground signals and may prohibit movement of the seat)
if i discconect the blue yellow ground back button stops working...im sure its a ground...will go through them

^ yeah that is to protect the user if they are sitting in the seat and the seatbelt is being used. You cannot accidentally hit the button while someone is sitting in the seat. That should connect to your seat belt clasp. I would definitely install it properly since it is a safety concern.

i made another discovery....i manually moved the seat back...the reason why the controller clicks...is because the seat will only move forward...if i move it back manually by jumping motor then i can move forward with switch...but thats it doesnt recline, or move back..

disconnect the white power and leave the blue power. This will make the controller think the car is on.

Cux, if it helps any, that definitely is a roadster seat. You can tell by the cancel switch in the first picture in post #29. (The seat back normally moves a bit forward when you operate the power top, it’s not really necessary and cancel switch eliminates it). Also some of the wires in the controller are to lower the side windows before the top opens.

Just a thought, but this being an 07 might it have a sensor in the seat to turn off the air bag if no one is setting on the seat? I’m not what year that change came about, also turns off the airbag if a small child is in the seat.

in addition to what you have. These are signals from the convertible top.

The seat may not recline back because of the position of the "top"

So FWD works, the buttons on the back work. Now to get reverse to work and its done!!!???!!

I would at least run a fuse for now to protect against shorts!

When you install in the car I would pull the correct wires for the power sources if you can.

connecting direct to battery may cause power drain, dead battery.

Pin 32 may be it. They call it the Seat Back Position output from the conv ctrl module. It may be the enable signal for reverse controls.
