Default Interior suggestions?

Hey guys... while I sort out the finances for my paint job, figured I would start on my interior.

Bought some faux alcantara suede in gray in NYC and thought of doing my interior in that.

Did the driver side door in about 2.5hours. LMK what you think.

Any ideas on how to improve the rest of the interior? I dont whether I should do the whole dash and the center console carbon or the center in suede and leave the dash as is, or suede it all?

HAS TO LOOK BETTER IN PERSON!
I've seen suede used on Z's.If done right,
it looks good if thats the look you want.
The material is widely used by Lambo &others.
I sure would add some accents to the interior
like CF to offset your seats&brushed look of the
suede.

Lol yea it does look better in person for sure... the picture is blown up so much it makes it look weird.

I definitely have to clean it all up since I have some glue residue on some parts. Hopefully the other door will come out nicer and I can redo this one?

Yea its a dark grey, it was dark and my phone took the pic with a flash so thats probably why it accented the marks on the suede from touching it

ouch.. op is correct.. there is no real leather sueded used in any car.. lambo or not. its synthetic.

but.. the OP did not use correct upholstery skills and the end result looks pretty terrible.
Sorry man, DIY is cool, props for that....but theres a right and wrong way to do things. Clean results from proper execution will get my respect. .this was a serious downgrade tho imho. which is worthless as its your car not mine..

Take it to a professional, the interior is one of those things where attention to detail really makes a difference.

Taking it to a professional is the last resort for me. I would much rather learn and do it myself as I feel I get the feeling of accomplishment and I can enjoy it more...

Take that off, go and buy a door panel out of a junkyard like a 240 since there somewhat similar. And practice on that. Then retry on your Z. Why grey and not black. Black would have blended so much better than grey. It looks like your glue bled through and you didn't tuck enough by the window.
Also you covered the speaker for some reason?

Sounds like a good idea.

I use glue where the speaker holes were so the fabric is not attached there, I didnt know if I should cover it or not
