Default HID Question

Hello all, just got my ballasts in and I am not sure what all is needed in the means of wiring. I have read a few DIY threads and am still a little confused, does anyone know where to find the wiring harness to convert my 04 headlights to HID? Thanks in advance: Mat

I haven't done this on a 350, but when I did an HID conversion on my WRX, I was able to get an entire kit (bulbs, ballasts and wiring). What I ended up doing was cutting off the headlight connector on the factory wiring. After that, I soldered a new connector on both the ballast and the wiring that would allow me to quickly disconnect it if need be. The ballasts I got simply had a red/black wire combination the connected to the two wires powering the headlight.

HID Kits, think of them as a middle man.

Your car has a power cable that connect to stock bulb. You are simply adding a middle man into the loop. HID bulb -> Ballast -> car's original bulb power cable.
