I love the idea of replacing the blank where the seat heater switch would be with something. I found this photo while searching google. Does anyone know anything about this plaque?

i'd like to know as well.. apparently though some ebay seller was selling them a year or two ago and no longer makes them.

 

Ha - that's my car! I actually have been speaking with a local manufacturer about getting some made, as that one is a very soft plastic, and it's gotten a bit scratched up. I'll know more this week, most likely. If you're interested, send me a PM so I've got a reminder. If they're more than ~$20 each, I'm probably going to pass, though, but it will depend n the number I ask to have made.

Yeah, I think that's about what I paid for the eBay piece. It's really gotten very scratched up, though, even worse than the rest of the sh!tty interior on my '08. I don't even touch the thing, so I'm not sure how. Hoping to find something better.

It's made by Isotta - got it from Crowders Customizing. I think it was ~$40 or so, and it installed with 4 set screws pretty easily.

 

Might not be until next week that I can drop my original plate off at the shop to get the exact estimate. I normally work nights (I'm an RN), but this past week and this week I'm working days instead, so I'm just too busy. I was going to see about getting 10 made, as they told me most of the cost is in setting up there laser cutter to do the work, so extra pieces are very inexpensive.
