Was looking at Top Gear(the British version) while they raced a LFA, Aston Martin, and the new Viper from Vegas to Mexico. Well during their race they pointed out how the Viper Snake lights up when you hit your brakes. That's when the idea popped in my head

I've been thinking about how to get rid of the OEM trunk emblem with out having the 2 giant holes so I bought this.


Besides wiring the emblem through the 2 holes so my wires wouldn't show to have a clean look, it was quite an easy mod. Wired it up to my brake lights so it only comes on when I hit the brakes. I searched a few Z forums for guidance and didnt see anyone try this so if anyone needs help, just give me a ring

^^^ yea I was 50/50 about it at first but once I finished everything it grew on me. Its not as noticeable as the pics make it out to be.If you can actually read "Nissan" as I brake, your tailgating to close lol

Kuyo, how did you wire it? I bought an LED layer and I am planning to remove the OEM emblem, place the LED between the trunk and emblem. But I have not figured out how to wire it.
