So I am looking to get new seats for my all black Z. I know there have been "crazier" color setups in relative to color of car, but I'm just worried if the red would be too much for an interior that is mostly black and the whitish/silver part of the steering wheel and door handles and arm rest.. I'm not sure if it will blend in that well. Here are the seats that im trying to buy.. Also if you guys want let me know which of the two black/red seats look better...

Synthetic leather is a nice way to say "plastic".

 

Nismo's have black and red cloth seats. Looks great.

 

Agreed, OP spend a little extra and get a good set of high quality seat covers from sites like leatherseats.com or buy a set of used OEM leather seats in good condition from the market place. I just bought a set of OEM Burnt Orange seats that i'll be installing on my Z this week! Got them for $575 which included rails and seat warmer switches.

Not a fan of the giant Z on the headrest, but aside from that, I think it will look good. I still prefer all red seats though.

 

Are you going to be doing a black/red theme inside? Or just the seats? I personally think black/silver or black/white theme looks really classy, so I'd say you should do the black seats with the white or silver, however if you're going for the red/black theme on the inside then the black seats with the red inserts will look good, but I'd look into getting some other pieces with red to balance it out. Maybe change out the gauge faces, get a shiftboot w/ red stitching, change the LED's, etc.

 

I bought from that Ebay seller. I got the Black with Burnt Orange. I got the synthetic. It was like $220 shipped to my door. It was shipped from the UK even though he list Michigan as his location. I am happy. Its not leather but I am on a budget. Takes about four hours to install each seat. Sort of a pain...but totally changes the interior.

Black and red is cool.

I have black/red nismo seats in my silver Z, nothing else inside the car is red and I think it looks great.
