Hello,

I currently have 2003 HID headlights working perfectly but the clear housing/lense has a lot of stress fractures in it.

My question is, is there a cheap/fast way to just replace the housings? For example buying non HID replacements and swapping in the HID components from my current pair?

I have the same issues does anyone sell new housings or do I have to find them used ?

 

Same issue as well. Doesnt really bother me though I can only see it when I turn on my HIDs at night.

 

You can definitely replace the housings only, there are some threads if you search for it I'm sure

Did you try to repair them already by using a buffer or a headlight restoration kit?

 

I've got cracked lenses and would prefer to switch to a larger projector circumference wise. They're are tons of 06 threads but not that many 03-05

I'm going to purchase some halogen headlights and reuse the oem ballast. I've read all you need to do is hook up an h7 hid bulb to the stock ballast and it'll fit any of the halogen headlights. But with less quality . Anyone done this?

 

Can you not just use the cover from the halogens on your HIDs?
