i bought a 08 350z equipped with spyder tail lights and im not a fan of the shape (the bubble bulging out)

not sure if a forum of this nature exists but im looking for some recommendations of better stock shaped tail lights?
the car is black so id like smoked lights
im just not sure of what direction to head in

 

Stock taillights.

Smoke them.

 

+1. The only aftermarket tail lights I've seen that don't bulge is the ones with the led's in the shape of a z. And those are just tacky..

 

oem is the best . theres a dude on cl hawaii been trying to sell one side for $50

 

I don't know anyone who is a fan of those bubble tail lights, as everyone so far has said OEM is the way to go.

 

Just get on ebay and get yourself a set of used oem tail lights.

The 03-06 are on there all the time for ~150-200 bucks per pair.

The 07+ are a little pricier but they are still reasonable. All the aftermarket tail lights are known to cause electrical gremlins.

If it were me I'd find a nice set of used 07+ lights and call it a day.

I wish there was something like the spyder ones without the bubble. I really don't like the giant streak of red, want something a little more discrete but I think smoked out OEM's look really tacky. So many people with a black car, black rims, and smoked out lights. Nothing interesting
