Default Headlight Question!

I have a 2007. I'd like the dual halo headlights, but the only ones (for a cheaper price) say they fit only 03-05. Is that true, or can it be done?

Do not I repeat do not remove your oem 07 headlights... just FYI they are the best looking and the most desired for the 350z

The owner before had tried to take apart the headlights and melted the lens on one, so theres a small melt spot about the size of a quarter from what looks like the oven rack.

Use the search function.

You can buy a set of depo 350z 03-05 headlights for roughly $180 and swap the lens.

The fit is 100%. Clearly someone did a good job when replicating them.

That is far cheaper and better than what you are considering. While you have it open might as well do some retrofitting

The 350Z community has people dying for 06+ head lights, and youre trying to change them to eBay junk?

Ill gladly pay for your eBay lights and mail you a twelve pack of your favorite brews for your head lights.

I too love the looks of my lights. The lens is melted, I either need JUST the lens, or a whole new light. If I'm going to pay for a whole new light, OEM or not, I'm going to REPLACE the whole thing. Since they don't make cheap OEM 06+, I'm not going to waste all the money on the entire thing for one piece. Hense why I'm asking if nicer aftermarket 03-05 headlights will fit.

I'll try and explain this to you one last time...

Ebay headlights w/ all your cool **** like halos = $450+

Depo light to swap lens's = $170~
Plus you can sell the left over bits as parts to minimize cost.

I wouldn't sacrifice light output and safety just because you don't want to do the lens swap.

But then again maybe you should do it. That way someone else can have your 06+ that will actually appreciate them.

/Thread.

By the way the ones that say 03-05 only that you want to buy may be referring to the halogen models that were released during those years.

In that case they will not work on your car.

If you are going to replace your headlights and buy aftermarket ones just remember that when searching make sure you buy the right kind. For instance make sure you know whether or not your Z is stock with HID lights or not because the plug will be different than a Z that isnt stock with HID's
