Default R35 GTR seats in 350z?

Has anyone done or heard of anyone doing this swap?

I think they'd look really nice!

I have thought about this as well. I love those seats. I think the issue is finding them as well as not paying a million bucks for them.

I would do this in a heartbeat. How much do they usually go for?

It seems like online the pair goes for 1.5k-2k.

I've been wondering the same thing. I would love a set of the greyish white ones.

Don't do it, the GT-R seats suck. They look good, but they're not at all that supportive for the track and not particularly comfortable for day-to-day use. They also don't sit that low, the bottom cushion shape is kind of weird and sits high.

First of all,is this "wishful thinking"?You have a set available to buy?
Don't think there are many used GTR seats around.New ones would cost
a mint.Have you ever driven a GTR?I have.Don't think the seats would
work in a Z.Furthermore, the GTR rides VERY firm. The seats are quite hard.
OK for a track car,not everyday driving.
All in all, your question is like asking,if you can put a BWW M3 engine in
a Z.Anythings possible.Somehow I don't think you have the bucks to
actually the swap even if the seats were available.

They're actually easy seats to find since most GT-R owners that drive their cars hard hate the stock seats. If the OP is serious, hop on GT-R Life and search the classifieds.

Honestly, you're better off with some good quality aftermarket seats.

The 09-11 GT-R seats are just horrible. Not worth it, trust me.

Thats what I would think as most I have seen at shows have some sort of aftermarket seat. I imagine there would be loads floating around. Unless owners are keeping them incase they want to go back to stock for trade-ins

coming from people that have had "seat-time" in a GTR - thought they would have been pretty sweet seats.

They're awful....spent a lot of time in both driver and passenger seats in R35s, hate them, even the Black Edition seats with the higher bolsters are not that good.

I reckon your money would be better spent by going for a pair of aftermarket seats, i bet those things are really heavy as well.

You're an arrogant ***** let me start by saying that. My question is nothing like asking about swapping a motor from a different car manufacturer, it's about a seat swap . Something tells me you don't work on cars much.

I found a set on eBay for $1300 which is reasonable. I'm not looking to replace my seats at the moment as I have mint condition 08 leather seats in my 07 HR. I looked for pictures of swaps online and didn't find much.

I know a set of aftermarket seats are attainable for the same price but I like the idea that they're OEM Nissan GTR seats.
