Hello All,

I'm hoping someone who has knowledge about the situation can help point me in the right direction.

I recently purchased a new cupholder to replace the broken dash one I have in my 03 350z. I took everything apart in the front dash, was able to get to the screw and took out the remains of the hold cup holder and put the new one in.

However, I am still having the same problems where the cupholder is not being pushed back on its own, and a sharp/thin object is needed to pull the thing out.

Once I took out the bracket, I came to realize that the bracket that holds the cup holder was missing the spring entirely. Does anyone know the part # of this bracket with the spring or know where I could buy one from?

Not sure if you can buy the spring itself, it might be cheaper to just be a completely new unit.

 

you should just abandon the use of this cup hold and accept it as an engineering flaw a long with the 03 third gear synchros and window motors. gl haha
