My freshly painted Z
Hi guys i just recently joined the forums, and I've never posted any pics of my Z, So i thought id do it now that shes looking great, to see what you guys think. The first pic is from the day i first got her. I have had her for about a year now and decided she needed a paint job and decided to go Daytona Blue.

I like the color, but would definitely get the nismo tailights and get new headlights, then golden!

There is no such thing as Nismo taillights.

The Paint itself cost about $200, the paint job was 900 that includes installing the bumper and spoiler.

That sucks.

oem headlights for sure. You could also powder coat the wheels to keep cost down or just get new ones. The rest looks great

No, got that painted as well to the best the painter could do, it still has grey spots here and there inside the engine bay nothing too noticeable..

There is no way this was a quality paint job. You'd be spending close to what you paid for the car. My quote for paint correction was more than $900.

Materials arent too much. 200-250ish sounds about right. Curious on door jams and engine bay also. I'm sure they didn't take out the front+rear glass did they?

He stated he can see silver speck from previous color. Makes me think it was a quick job.

Its good to see someone individualizing their car. That part of the fun in
owning a Z.I'm not a "blue" person,so a Daytona Blue car would not be my
first chioce. With the body mods(can't tell from the pics if thats CF used
for some of the aero parts or just gloss black)you definetely need some
more agressive wheels. Also,I'd consider a rear diffuser.I've got a Shine
Spec R on my Z that would look good on your car.
Good job!
