So I bought a VIS c-speed replica recently and it has this mesh on it.



I want some more of that mesh for my front bumper as well. Anyone know where i can get the exact pattern to match. It looks to be brushed aluminum, but I'm not sure how to get something with the same pattern size.

Most of the mesh thats used in bumpers/diffusers etc is pretty cheap stuff.
If you paint over it with like DupliColor Trim,it looks a bit better.Its still awful quality.
You may want to call Shine and ask them for the name of a supplier.Good quality mesh
is expensive.A lot more than the E-BAY stuff.Some of the chain auto stores like Pep
Boys sell mesh.Shine has the info you want.

 

Well the bumper is from VIS not shine, so I'm not sure why you think shine will tell me what i need?

I think I'll call VIS and see if they can shoot me in the right direction though. Otherwise the ebay stuff will work. It's just aluminum mesh, I don't see how it should be that expensive.

Well i called vis and they were no help. i guess ill just get the ebay stuff and replace it if it breaks. i was just trying to see if there was an alternitive place to get the same stuff rather than buying it from the manufacturer.

Some of that other mesh is redicioulisly overpriced.

 

Lol well I assume cause you have shine front bumper. That's why shine was suggested.

 

Most of the cheapo mesh doesn't last very long, I ordered my mesh from this place:

Their mesh can come already painted and it is in a higher quality aluminum then you will find with other places
