Default rock guards for front wheels.

does anyone make something like this for the 350z? just got my rear quarter panel repainted and want to protect it from the front tires throwing up rocks.

some for the camaro

if not, i think i will try to make some out of 2.5mm thick aluminum. its gonna have to stick out pretty far since the wheels stick out so far compared to the bottom of the front fender.

i have the mud guards...they dont nearly stick out far enough.

and im getting rock chips on the door, painted handle and quarter panel. id figure it would be easier to stop the rock at the source.

ima go ahead with this project. its gonna be a two piece, one for the fender, the other to blend it in to the side skirt. next i will braze the two pieces together and either paint it wrinkle black, or possibly brushed aluminum look. ill update this thread as i progress.

Hmmm where are you driving that you are throwing so many rocks?

I just hope your Z doesn't end up looking like a rally car

i drive a lot of miles, and do cruised though the hill country. so, running into rock is unavoidable.

it done right, it should look clean. the rock guards wont have to be flush with the tire. i just have to figure out the angle.
