Default 03 headlight mods?

so ive been searching for a couple weeks now but only found one thread with just pics of demon eyes on a 03 but no write up. i really want the iron man or anything close on my 03 and i think just the ring outside of the lens holder is too ugly. i also would like to replace my headlight lens but cant seem to find one. and i would like a demon eye on my 03 and im guessing its the same process. basically i want to know all mod options on my 03 headlights. sorry if its been asked but i really couldnt find anything on here or google.

Can you even demon eye an '03? It's not a true projector. Maybe update the headlight itself with a projector retrofit and then mod it.

didnt know that shadow thanks for the reply, i saw a pic of a retrofit and it looked horrible haha guess i should just save my money and get a 06 pair. just one more question. my headlights are horrible at night i can barely see 15 feet ahead of me, the bulbs look bright to me but the dispersement looks all out of wack. thats why i was thinking of replacing the lens, any insight on that? once again i have searched but not all problems are the same. also sorry for all the questions but my vin indicates my car has factory xenons but for some reason the prev owner installed a hid kit with h7 bulbs. i took a look at the harness but there are sooo many splicings i cant tell what wire is stock and whats not. if the vin says its xenon is there anyway to convert back to regular xenon cuz i found a pair of 06 headlights for $300 but its for factory xenons only!

From what I've read, the factory '03 headlights don't have great output, it's a tiny projector lens in front of the bulb and then the scattered light is also reflected forward. Having said that, if your headlight cover is yellow or hazy, that will reduce output a lot. You can have it polished out, look up a diy, it's everywhere. Not too hard and will fix that issue. I don't think you can find a replacement lens without buying an entirely new headlight, I don't think they make them separately.

I'm sure you could convert back to factory HID. Just have to find the parts. It's not any different than an aftermarket kit, just bulb and ballast. You could run an aftermarket kit in the '06 if you wanted to. How much did the p/o splice in? Shouldn't have to do that much to run aftermarket hid.

I wasn't aware you could tell the type of headlights you have by checking the VIN. What model Z do you have?

sorry for the late reply guys but i have a 03 touring and when i had the bumper replaced a while back and he checked the headlights by calling a nissan dealership and they said its supposed to be stock xenons. the honestly i cant tell how much he spliced in but there are at least 2 wires spliced into every stock wire one of which im assuming is for the alarm system. the housing doesnt seem hazy but i might give it a go anyway. at night the dispersement just seems like the light is coming out of the surrounding of the headlight not through the lens. and yeah i saw the depos but i cant find a non xenon one. and greedy i dont have the demon eye i was wondering if i could do it on a 03
