thats basically how it goes yes. Its advertising.. i deal w marketing managers.
Its stuff i do already, now i get paid for it.
Which is good because even with the discounts, this whole "body and wheels and etc" redo is costing me between 12 and 15 grand, cash money no credit cards.
in other news, i picked up xbLED DRL kit form TRS...
and a Weapon R polished PS resevoir form Chase Mays off the fb page.
Some aluminum capped lugs since you cant see my Rays lugs w this low of an offset on these wheels.. Picked up a few sets so i can do one color on each side of the car.. thyere cheap and look decent.. ill utlimately do titanium ones once i try these and find the exact color and size length i want.. theyre 340 bucks a set.. not messing that up.
a better lit shot of the wheels.. dark in the shade, firey in the light/flash
Ordered up a set of sponsor stencils for the r888s as well.. pretty cheap and beats having to paint.
TOYO TIRES/PROXES... same as this guy:

Tirestickers.com
They are licensed to use the exact toyo fonts and logos too..
Same as Nascar would use..they are a latex transfer.. I'm sure they are iron on and actually vulcanize to the tire...or something to that effect.

Yeah I figure they'll react better to tire dressing than white paint would... and they come in double qtys. .. so when they're toast.. I'll just line up the dups..and reset a new one over top.of the old.

New stuff.. +50 hp
Nothing is simple..these tpms sleeve nuts are all 4 mm too long.. i had to pay a MACHINE SHOP to cut them down... smh
But end result is that they blend KILLER.
Another 17 hp... a new pos dash cupholder... from West Covina Nissan..
And some eyelids.. they match the hood now yeah.. but they will get dipped over just like the hood will anyway.
I hope to have the car in hand this weekend so I can start tearing the interior out to suede it up... rewire all my gauges and audio too.. hope to neaten things up and git rid of key-off draw coming from somewhere. .
Lots of additional things to wire up.. so i sacked up and bought a stack of wire spools w the proper colors... i have mismatch all over this car from.the last 10 years lol..
Stan's out til next weds.. (toyo)
so no tires for me until then..boo!
