So i found a new pearl color for the dip thats pretty cool.. in the shade its very dark but due to the pear, the lit surfaces really pop to a bright medium silver.. excuse the mustang lol

its a pearl metallic and is also 50/50 satin.. meaning partly shiny and smooth just like a normal wrap.
tghe normal side view of Stardast front flares:

as i hope to blend it with the superleggera fenders:

And with the side canard in place:

Apparently lol.. yes dip for sure...wrap is pointless on a car like this that never sees the sun much. I won't be doing a diy on it either.. az dip shop is taking care of it for me.. fantastic guns and spray set up.
Makes for frequent color changes too

Had a horrible experience with plasti dip, I'd never use it for anything on my car ever again. Thought my car was vinyl wrapped when I bought it, however it was a crappy dip job (long story here's the link to my thread if you care to read: https://my350z.com/forum/nismo-350z/...mo-0725-a.html)... To each their own I guess, I think vinyl wrap>Plasti dip anyday. Just my .02
Liking the progression of your body mods though, should be very unique when finished.

car is already wrapped.. did that last time.. again, bad paint is bad paint.. doesnt mean painting a car is a bad idea etc etc.. same goes for anthing.. theres a right way and a wrong way.. and i prefer to not cheap out and do things the rightest of right ways
wrap is no good for aggressive body parts like i run.. seams are inevitable.. and thats no bueno for me.. again this is also not a car i drive to the grocery store folks.
It lives in the garage, it goes to shows, it goes home.

Yeah was such a bad idea going w the fuel sipper.. it's not even a fuel sipper..so slow tho.. it is being boosted this winter tho..should be fun.
Have you talked to the guys at Stardast about what shipping method you were going to use? I haven't talked to them in a couple weeks, but we were still unsure how they were going to ship the kit.
Just had a small meet last night with Peter, Auner, Brandon, and Steve and they were talking about jumping you into a SoCal Z gang.. Might want to bring a shank or two

still have to figure out this front fender or side skirt exhaust exit... these electric cut outs leak like a *****.. sounds pretty crappy.. so im thinking its going to need an old school thumb screw cap on the exhaust tip..
Are you planning on a dual exit or single exit exhaust? Most cut-outs I've seen wear out pretty fast and do make the car sound horrible..
Either way my vote is for sideskirt exit exhaust with a nice riveted plate at the actual hole

Yeah its just a single.. the electric cut out is on the downpipe just past the start of the door.. so it would have to be skirt exit vs fender.. would make life easier to have it circle shaped but we're just gonna have to make our own rectangular tip and plate i guess
