Yah, its a matter of personal taste...make it your own, if you are happy go for it!

How far along on the widebody sides? Seats mounted yet?

A good dip job is hard to tell compared to a wrap.. it is cheap.and can be redone frequently. . Be patient my friends..... lol...i think my car alone is going to make more people a believer of dip..
I think we're all tired of seeing a stock mustang dipped. . Or.a Honda civic. . Or some stock super car dipped somewhere in ARE or Russia on YouTube lol..

A sick built aggressive car like what I'm cooking up will show how legit the stuff really is..
Plus my car is infrequently driven.. you'll all be happy when I keep this thread going w pictures in different colors every 5 months too lol

Brought my drivers seat down to see if we can mate it up with my stock seat rails n sliders..if not I'll order up planted bases n call it a day.

Picked up some odds n ends that will make the build a bit cleaner....
Angle mounts for the license plate ( anyone w this ams bumper knows the area is too small for a plate frame..this will solve that n look better)

Found some 5000k white light boxes..
This will do better than a strip so the light is diffused and doesn't reflect the led dots like the strips do...( im.having to make my light panel and trunk switch from scratch)

Going to use the passenger airbag area under that sides dash panel to make my wiring "hub"... instead of t tapping sht all over the place.. I'm coming in direct off the battery w relays triggered by the radio wiring... constant power..keyed ignition. .and illumination. . Running them.over to these jumpered term strips to make adding new items later a snap..

The obligatory and necessary bumper tie downs.. should make it easier to get the bumper stuck to the alumalite splitter we will stamp out..

Also going to wait until.the build is done so I can get a better count.. but I'm going to buy burnt titanium for all my exposed fasteners.. such as engine bay..steering wheel.. exterior bits like the diffuser stays and mounting bits etc..
I'll be buying these all from 350zAl btw.. he offers those..

Most likely waiting until it's all in and i can get a better picture of what will match up best.. but I'm liking this Personal Grinta 350 in suede and red stitch..
Hoping it's thick enough vs the skinny Nardi stuff I've seen..

And speaking of wiring lol
.

Here's what im mapping out so far:

Qtp exhaust controller
Alpine back up camera
Apexi turbo timer
Apexi throttle pedal booster
Front and rear bumper back up sensors w alarm buzzer
Rewire all aftermarket gauges properly
Including a color shift to white switch
Pull up.the cca wire running back to accuair and amps and use pure copper
All halo wiring and switches
Trs drl wiring and switches
Rgb illumination for footwells; nook behind driver seat for amps and under rear stb/accuair set up
Fan controllers
Trunk pop switch w illumination
License plate lights
Under hood rgb illumination

I am fkd. Interior gut out... n just get er done i guess. I think today I'll go buy a better propane solder gun and a boat load of crimp connects and teem strip.ends...
I am NOT getting stuck running to the store in the middle of this cluster fk.

Plasti-dip looks pretty sexified when sprayed on professionally. Its gotten a bad wrap (lol) by teens in striped hoodies flinging a couple coats on their wheels and tires and calling it fresh, yo. I have seen plenty of cars sprayed and its amazing what you can do with the colors and textures. There's a GTR in my area with a flat dark anthracite dip. At night it looks like a monster prowling in the shadows and during the day the different shades and textures playing together in the light just make you ache with lust.

Anyways, I'm going to change my briefs now.

I had to modify mine to work right
there is no internal baffling and the suction and return ports create a swirl.
You will get air in your pump and the pump will prematurely fail.
Its just a crappy design..as is 99% of weapon-r parts. NRG isnt any better

I have some perforated aluminum for grill material.. i guess i could bend a square enough to get it inside the opening and then onfold it a bit once inside.. i imagine that would cut down 90% of the issues

I have that wheel and love it. the bottom and sides are nice a meaty while the top has the thickness of a standard wheel.

I have been trying to find a wheel that is real thick all the way around without any finger or palm areas.

Lol I guess it is a love/hate thing. I know most people on here hate them, and after my accident I considered keeping them off, but all of my friends were asking if I was going to put them back on because they loved how it looked with them. So I put them back on recently and I'm happy I put them back on.
