I already have the seat, and i already know how to put them in. I was just wondering about using the stock seatbelts with the seats

Also, if you have airbags in your OEM seats, do not swap to aftermarket.
I didnt know that was a thing, I have cloth seats though. I didnt even consider that because I figured there was an airbag in only the steering wheel. Ill look into that and post back here if i have a question about it

Most sets of seat rails have a little nut for mount the stock buckle. How would it reduce my safety? Im not really bent on doing this but im not really seeing how this could jeopardize safety
most or some? these are not hondas…

but like Pyshin said, it's your car, do whatever you want!!

If they did, it would be a huge sign the that company sucks and knows nothing about cars. Just like the spring rates that Megan offers on there "track" coilovers.

Wouldn't use the stock belts, tried this and hated it in one of my old cars. Didn't have the money for bar and harness so sold the seats and went back stock. Saved up and bought reclining. Should have kept them too lol miss those brides

First I don't daily my car and my car is modded to max on NA and will go boost soon. I drive my car once a week ..I did have stock oem leather seats..hated it in turns ..I did get corbeau A4 and their brackets, very very easy install ..I did fit an A4 wide and it fitted the car well, and used the stock seat belts with no issue...the corbeau bracket has provision to affix/mount the clip and worked like a charm, but i found out my shoulders are too wide even of the A4 wide , it fit real well on waist and legs but the shoulder pads kept bothering me during shifts..so i switched to kirkey racing ALU seat, road race/drag pro seats ,they were cheap and they custom made a size for my shoulders, the padding and cover they gave was awesome, i first thought its going to hard on my back..but with provided lumbar support and cover , it works well, sits very low ,used the same corbeau bracket and made a rear back brace to my harness bar so there is no flex (NASA requirement for track days). Will post pics if needed. The only issue is getting in and getting out due to bolsters and fixed position, but since i drive car occasionally its OK for me. Do look into these seats if you like function over form, but i think it looks good too esp i turned mine to black Matt finish.

i have fixed sparco evos. they were more comfortable than the OE. imho.

i used a seat belt extender so that the lap portion would go through the bottom lap belt hole.

i only use the 5pt when on the track..

I was looking at these, this is prob what im going to end up doing. Im gonna give the bucket seats a go and if i dont like them then i will sell the parts. Does anybody know if the nagisa/nams seat rails are safe? they only lock on one side and im not sure that will keep you in place in an accident

their advantage is they lower the seat quite alot so that you can have sliders and side mount capabilities and still have clearance for your helmet.

i know a few people that have those sliders and dont say anything about their lack of faith in safety.. however... suggestion if you dont trust them... purchase a set of reputable sliders (recaro/sparco, etc) take to a local fabrication shop, and tell them to make you seat bracket with the sliders incorporated into it. sure its going to a take a little longer, but in reality the cost is not much more than purchasing wedge base + slider + side mounts.

and this way you can have custom mounting solution fit to you.
