Seen it, now you would need a set of them across the core support and the undertray and liners are still a pain.

There was a build section in Japanese Performance (issue number 100) and a guy did a similar thing on an S14 DET although saying that, the whole of the front including the wings came off in one piece with the bumper so the whole of the engine bay was open. Its a great idea but as Terrasmak says there is a whole lot more design work that needs to go into this to make it feasible. A great starting point though.

This may be a value for some. But,in the mass market scheme of
things, how many Z owners take off their bumpers on a regular basis?
In 10 years I've owned my Z,I've taken the bumper off once.

That's a lot of coin for them. I personally like this style better myself:

@Jcity, This type of product isn't something that is meant to be sold to the masses, but to more niche groups of people. I for example had hood pins at all four corners as well as quick releases on my front bumper because i work on my car so dang much. pull 4 pins, and twist 4 quick release screws, and I have access to the entire engine bay.
as terrasmak stated, if you are loading cars into a trailer this type of product reduces the risk of damage.

At my old job (Porsche race shop) we used them all the time.
^^This car was COVERED with them.
How reliable/safe are the quick releases in the OP? They look like slightly longer snap buttons.

Stock hood?
I fear those would just rip apart a CF hood in no time. A quarter surface area may be too small. I think it'll look nice, but if you need it, I don't see it helping.
And as I typed that, I realized I have the same size thing holding my front bumper on
Which reminds me, I need to order hood pins

I like those quik latchs but there a bit pricey at 25$ each and I would put to on each side. So I went a ccheaper route and went with the password jdm style quick release for 25$ lol.
