That's the best way to describe it I guess. It's the part above the speedo cluster. I want to remove it because it has that crappy paint on it so I want to carbon fiber it.

I tried to search best I could but no luck. Can some one point me in the right direction?

So I tried t remove the cluster today with out much luck. People say there should be 4 screws but I can only see 3. I removed them and the column didn't come apart like the write ups say. Any one have any info on removing the cluster from a 06?
