Default Foggy/yellow Headlights 2003 350z Track /w HID

Hi,

My 350z headlights are foggy and yellowish. I bought a "restoration" kit by Sylvania, but before I started I noticed it won't help since a lot of it is actually on the inside of the lenses.

My car is equipped with Xenon HIDs from the factory (that still work great) and I just need the headlight assemblies. What do you recommend?

Thank you

It's not on the inside, it just appears like that.
Sand away!

If you can't do it yourself, find a body shop that can sand and clear coat your headlights. I paid 60 to get mine done and they came out awesome.

This is an easy fix. I used toothpaste and a wet cloth to restore mine to look brand new. The yellow is not on the inside of the light it just appears that way.

Pretty easy DIY. Most shops will do it for around $30 if you don't want to do it yourself.

Check out YouTube for DIY's....many different ways to do this, and all input so far is dead on....it's not on the inside, easily restored to like new with some elbow grease and patience, but if you sand toooooo much you can take off the UV protection and then you'll have to redo them every few weeks (so I've read..haven't seen that one play out in real life personally)...I've used toothpaste and elbow grease...works but can take multiple passes to get good, but another set I had to work on needed more than toothpaste, a rag and elbow grease so I used a cheap rotary buffer from Harbor Freight to work the toothpaste around...that set still needs a sanding though..was pretty cloudy and resistant to polishing....when using a buffer just gotta use common sense and tape off the paint of your vehicle.

YouTube though....you'll be all set.
