Default Where can I find this piece?

A while ago I got my stereo installed by a local shop because I was too worried about doing it myself. Turns out I would've been better off doing it myself.

When I got my car back there was a gap under the radio and I figured it was just the metra dash kit that was causing it, but I pulled out my center console today and realized it's because one particular part wasn't screwed in.

I don't know what it's called, or how exactly to put another one in there, but the piece I'm missing is a small metal piece that the screw threads into (not the actual tab, but the metal piece behind it)

Any ideas where I can get another or what I can do? The gap is driving me crazy...

Sure you posted the right pic? That's not an aftermarket headunit with a Metra kit. The piece missing is the bottom of the waterfall, which you must already know, and what you have circled is a screw hole.

Clarify.

you may have to find someone with a totaled Z

or search on mcmaster.com

Youre best/easiest bet is to replace with bolt/nut

That's not my picture. I have an aftermarket unit, that picture is someone else's interior, I just used it as a refrence. As I said, the piece I'm missing is the metal piece that the screw threads into behind the hole I circled. You can see it if you look closely.

And yeah I'm thinking I'm going to have to replace it but it's just so narrow I don't know how I'll be able to fit anything...I was hoping someone may have come across this before and had any ideas.

Just get a speed nut and matching screw.

Ah perfect I was wondering what the correct name for one of those was called. Thanks.

If that's what you need, try a hardware store. Doesn't have to be a perfect match, just flush enough to fit behind the waterfall section.

plenty of room for a button head bolt and nut. Not like it needs to be super tight.
