03-05 veilside style front lip on 06-08?

Exclamation 03-05 veilside style front lip on 06-08?
I was just wondering if anyone has successfully fitted a 03-05 Veilside style front lip on a 06-08? Reason i'm asking is for one, these lips are pretty much EXTINCT for the 06-08 models. I have found one vendor selling a Veilside fiberglass replica lip but it's for the 03-05 and he claimed that it could be sanded down to fit properly on the 06-08 and that many other Z guys have done it. I know the bumpers are slightly different towards the bottom area where the lip attaches but is this something worth trying, or nah?

That's incorrect. The 06+ bumpers are wider on the bottom so sanding down an 03-05 lip would do you no good; it would have to be extended.

Are you talking about the center section just below the grill?

ok thanks for clarifying that. i think a few vendors are trying to sell off 03-05 lips as being able to fit 06-08 also just to make a sale, smh

I bought my carbon fiber veilside lip from them for 06-08

they are the US Distributor for Veilside & Chargespeed
