Aftermarket E-Brake Hand Handle (Sparco Settanta) Installation help needed.
Hello everyone, Creighton here. I am currently trying to put the finishing touches on my interior that I've been working on for about two years now. I told myself time and time again the very last thing I'll do, after ripping every console and door panel off, painting, stripping and sanding endlessly, that I'd eventually do the easier upgrades last (Shift **** and e-brake cover).

I recently ordered the above brake cover. I was able to install the Sparco shifter with ease, but the e-brake cover is giving me issues.
I don't know where to begin. I've searched through the archives again and again and have yet to find a conclusive, in depth thread that was able to provide me with any information.
I know I will have to destroy the factory brake cover, that much is easy, what do I do after?
Much thanks in advance, Creighton

^^ Hi Creighton, ...I have the same question/problem.
There was a thread on my350z.com describing a solution with pics, but the pics went away.
Search on "safety brake" or "emergency brake" for a solution that is not on this site.

No. The site (specific post) I was referencing has also lost the DIY Pics. Rats!!
I don’t have Pics, but here are the instructions (sans instructive pictures):
1) You need to cut off the soft “tissue.” In other words, use a sharp Exacto knife to cut off the e-brake’s soft covering, and down to the metal framework.
2) Buy any boot to cover/trim the lower part of the e-brake arm. Installing the boot is as simple as pulling the boot over the stripped-to-metal e-brake handle and pushing its lower edges under the tunnel opening.
3) Fit your new e-brake handle over the metal skeleton that you just exposed.
If I do an e-brake installation, I’ll post pictures and DIY instructions.
