Using a driver-side 06-08 ballast for the passenger side headlight?
I've searched around everywhere and can't find the answer to this question.
I currently have:
1 - Driver-side headlight with bulbs+ballast
1 - Passenger-side headlight with no bulbs or ballast
I've been seeing a ton of driver-side headlights pop up on Craigslist but have been unsure whether or not I could utilize the parts so I wanted to check here with you guys before buying a pair in order to test it out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just wanted to make sure; I was afraid maybe the mounting points were different since that would make sense if the setup was mirrored, right?
Tooling, packaging, one more part number in the system, more shelf space, separate runs etc... It's not cost efficient.
It would make sense if it was mirrored but that is a lot of money in tooling to make another ballast to 100% mirror the housings when they can just modify the mold to accept the same ballast on each side.

However, I acquired a spare driver-side headlight with all of the electronics and plugged them all right into the driver-side with no issues. I hope this information is of use to someone in the future!
