im thinking of just doing them black it will match them with rims and the lip and diffuser im getting I plasti dipped them before didn't look bad but wore out way to quick because of how often I open the door.
I have them and I like them. I had plasti-dipped door handles before and it doesn't look terrible but I think the carbon is better at least because of the gloss finish. You can pull it off if you have other CF parts on your car, however if you don't I would just go with painting them a glossy black.

yeah I get that I would stay plastidipped but I have to respray every 2 months because of the wear from opening the doors. needless to say im done respraying.
I spray painted mine black and then clear coated them. They looked good for about a day then they started to get scratched up and paint started chipping. I decided I wanted something that looked better so I went with the overlays. If I had to do it over again, I probably would have plasti dipped the handles then covered them because parts of the handle that aren't covered by the overlays have chips in them that look bad up close.
Hmm, weird that yours aren't that good. I picked mine up and they let me unwrap and look at the part before I took it. I can take some pics of mine when I have the chance, mine look fine up close.
